In a grand display of creativity, innovation, and cultural prowess, Jagran Education Foundation successfully organized the week-long Inter-College Fest, 'Kalanjali,' from February 16 to February 22, 2024. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various colleges and universities, making it a memorable celebration of talent and skill.

The fest commenced with a spectacular inauguration ceremony, graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. M.M. Gupta, Chairman of Jagran Group, who served as the Chief Guest for the event. Alongside him were Mrs. Ritu Gupta, Vice Chairperson of Jagran Education Foundation, and Dr. J.N. Gupta, the CEO of Jagran Education Foundation. The ceremony began with the traditional Lamp Lighting, symbolizing the ignition of knowledge and creativity.

Divided into four distinct categories - Creative Fest, Techno Fest, Lit Fest, and Cultural Fest - 'Kalanjali' offered a diverse range of competitions and activities. The 'Creative Fest,' organized by Jagran Institute of Digital Animation, stood out with its eight engaging competitions that showcased the participants' artistic flair.

Creative Fest competitions included:
1-Best Out of Waste: Participants turned recyclable materials into works of art, promoting sustainability and creativity.
2-Pot Decoration Competition: An array of beautifully adorned pots highlighted the fusion of tradition and contemporary aesthetics.
3-Rangoli: Intricate patterns and vibrant colors adorned the ground, capturing the essence of traditional Indian art.
4-Poster Making: Participants used their artistic skills to convey powerful messages through visually appealing posters.
5-Collage Making: The fusion of images and ideas created visually stunning collages, reflecting diverse perspectives.
6-E-Gaming Competition (BGMI & FreeFire): The digital arena came alive with intense competition, showcasing the participants' gaming prowess.
7-Photography Competition: Shutterbugs displayed their talent through captivating visual narratives, freezing moments in time.
8-50-Hour Film Making: The ultimate challenge for filmmakers, where creativity and time management played crucial roles.

The week-long fest reached its grand finale on February 22, with the distribution of trophies and certificates to the deserving winners across all categories. Participants and attendees alike lauded the event for providing a platform that celebrated talent and fostered a sense of camaraderie among the diverse participants.

'Kalanjali' not only served as a testament to the vibrant spirit of the youth but also reinforced Jagran Education Foundation's commitment to nurturing creativity and holistic development. The event's success marks it as a prominent fixture in the academic calendar, promising an even more spectacular showcase of talent in the years to come.
