Kanpur witnessed a magnificent event as the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organized the city's first-ever half marathon "Run for Ganga" on Sunday, 6th November 2022. The event was organized by Smart City and saw a massive turnout of participants, including faculty and students from various educational institutions in the city.
The event was a resounding success, with people from all walks of life coming together to support the cause of cleaning up the Ganges River, which is one of the most important water resources in India. The faculty and students of JIDA were among the most enthusiastic participant. They were joined by hundreds of others who ran with a passion for the cause, and their collective efforts will go a long way in creating awareness about the need to keep the Ganges River clean.
The event also saw the participation of many government officials, social activists, and celebrities who came together to raise awareness about the importance of keeping the Ganges River clean.
