Jagran Institute of Digital Animation recently hosted a Rangoli and Diya-making competition, which saw enthusiastic participation from students across various departments. The event was organized to celebrate the festive season of Diwali and to provide a platform for the students to showcase their creativity and talent.
The competition took place in the seminar room, which was beautifully decorated with colorful lights and festive ornaments. The students displayed their skills with great fervor, creating intricate and eye-catching designs for their Rangolis using a variety of colorful powders and flowers, while the Diyas were handcrafted and adorned with glitter, beads, and other decorative materials.
The competition was judged by Dr. J.N. Gupta, CEO of the Jagran Education Foundation, who evaluated the designs based on their creativity, uniqueness, and overall appeal. He was impressed with the caliber of the participants and had a challenging time determining the winners.
After a thorough evaluation, the winners of the Rangoli-making competition were Mallika Gautam and Abhishek Pandey, who secured the first prize. Ashi Saxena and Pankaj Vishwakarma were the first runners-up, followed by Drishti Sarda and Isha Gupta in second place with Tulsi Dwivedi and Riya Singh as the second runners-up while Ila and Monika Verma were declared the third winners, with Vaishnavi Srivastava and Anjla Ansari as the third runners-up. Meanwhile, in the Diya-making competition, Vaishnavi Srivastava secured the first prize, followed by Isha Gupta in second place, and Anjla Ansari in third place.
The Rangoli and Diya-making competition at JIDA was a resounding success, with students demonstrating their artistic talents and celebrating the festive spirit of Diwali. The event concluded on a high note, with the winners receiving their prizes and all participants receiving certificates of appreciation for their efforts.
